?Anthony Peeler is an established veteran and a very solid player,? said Grunfeld. ?He is a proven perimeter shooter, a hard-nosed defender, and brings significant playoff experience to our young roster.? </div>

Nice signing, he is a 3 point threat, plays nice D and could also be a sign of things to come that Juan Dixon is on his way out of town...

i think a 2nd string SG, 3rd string PG...I dont see Dixon with us much longer anyways though there was an article in the Washingotn Post in early June I believe that said Dixon was contemplating going to play over seas for some coach that he had a lot of respect for...

But then again, Peeler just brings the roster of signed players to '12'. so maybe he is to fill the chris whitney role this year.

From previous experiance of having watched AP play for the last 5 years up until his last with the Kings, I will say that it is a nice signing, but he's so damn streaky that it'll drive you mad! He'll go one game from being unstoppable and scoring 25 on 5-7 from downtown then will follow up that with a 2-18 shooting performance. He's a great role player but tends to overstep his bounds when the team isn't doing well. Just an honest objective note for Wiz fans. Your love him one night, hate him the next, but a good signing overall.

    Peace.

There are many players like that on the Wizards lol..Larry Hughes..you can love him one night but then he can totally piss you off...same with Jaun Dixon..I think we are used to it..

    PG- Arenas/Blake
    SG- Hughes/Peeler
    SF- Jamison/Hayes
    PF- Kwame/Jeffries
    C- Haywood/Etan

I think that is what it will look like, I would like to try to pick up one more PF I am not impressed with Jefferies at all..

Kobe 8 Ball, look at my roster in the Mock Off-season game, I think I should be the GM, ironically I also signed Anthony Peeler [IMG]
Good signing, he can shoot, and is a good guy off the bench.

he would've been a nice fit ANYWHERE, I thought for sure he was going to resign with a contender but obviously he was going for money...plus washington is a young team on the rise anyway...
