They just don't play with the same energy and passion without him. Butler is returning with the team after missing the entire road trip because of his bad knee. Iguodala also came back from injury on Saturday night against the Heat. These two guys just coming off of injuries and are crucial for their teams, respectively. PredictionsThis is a game that the Wizards SHOULD take, especially on their home court. Butler will be playing tonight and that is great to hear, as the Wizards are 2-7 without him in the lineup. The Sixers are better than their record and play with a lot of passion. Let's not forget they beat the Heat in Miami after trailing 13-30 by the end of the 1st quarter. Leads are never safe in the NBA, especially for the Wizards. Nevertheless, I still think the Wizards take care of buisness at home and win, 106-98. Philly is a powerhouse on certain nights and we have to be ready. Wiz can not drop games like this for the rest of the season if they want that division and they need to rebound from that horrible road disaster.

No one knows that Hughes' nickname is 'Smooth', anyways. :lol:How is Larry Hughes smooth, anyways? Bricking mid-range jumpers got him the nickname?

Iguodala is a BEAST.The game was closer down the stretch than I thought it would be... very entertaining though.

I was really impressed with the Sixers play, and if it wasn't for some key plays done the stretch Wizards wouldve dropped this. I feel that the Sixers could easily make hte playoffs next year. Iverson really slowed down their start. Big win to get back the division.

Jeez people, I thought Wizard fans liked Hughes. Well, at least they liked him when I was talking it up with them during his three seasons there. Hughes was always called "Larry "Smooth" Hughes". Come on now guys, you know this. I loved watching Larry with Washington, man I loved his last season there. I had myself ready for another great season but then he came to my home town and hasn't done much.
QUOTE

Way to steal Larry Hughes from us in the first place.
Sorry bro, wish Cleveland could've got Micheal Redd so Hughes would still be owning. I do want Larry in Cleveland, but I just want to see him and my home town team do well. I had that going for me when he was with the Wizards. All well, I will always remember being a Wizards fan for three years.

I had doubts about Iguodala becoming a star because he lacked that offensive aggessiveness, but he's shown he definitely can be a star in the league since the trade. If only we never traded for Webber... then who knows, Iverson and Iguodala might have been a pretty potent duo.

Yeah, then they went 3-18 after that, however once Cwebb left thats when the Sixers really started being effective. How much cap space do the Sixers have, they could make huge progress this off-season.
