He filled up the stat sheet and also hustled for loose balls (which obviously doesn't show up on the stat sheet, but a great thing to keep track of). He needs to take advantage of his playing time on Monday against Utah's big frontcourt. However, he needs to play within the team offense, as well. Utah Jazz Starting LineupPG Deron Williams Stats: 16.8 ppg, 8.6 apg, 3.5 rpgSG Gordan Giricek Stats: 5.7 ppg, 1.7 rpgSF Andrei Kirilenko Stats: 9.2 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 3.6 apgPF Carlos Boozer Stats: 22.2 ppg, 11.8 rpg, 3.1 apgC Mehmet Okur Stats: 16 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 2 apgKey Player off the Bench for UtahMatt Harpring Stats: 10.5 ppg, 4.4 rpgHarpring is Utah's spark off the bench when they need it. Harpring is a good mid-range shooter and a fiesty rebounder on the boards even at the age of 30. Aside from Harpring coming off the bench, Utah has more depth coming from guys like Derek Fisher, Ronnie Brewer, and Paul Milsap. Injury ReportWAS Darius Songaila (Recovering from back surgery)WAS Michael Ruffin (Out with sprained foot)PredictionsThis is obviously a tough game to win, even if Jazz are currently on a 3-game skid and the fact that we're playing on our homecourt. I see this game as a nail-biter, but I think Washington will take this one because their level of confidence at home immediately rises. Washington wins, 118-115. Gil breaks out of his slump and goes for 35 points and 7 assists. Blatche gets 7 points and 9 rebounds.
Wizards have gone on a cold streak as of late, we need to buckle down and grab this win at home to give us the momentumf or this coming week of 4 games in 6 days. Gilbert Arenas will get off his personal cold streak and rock out giving us another victory IMO.
I think that this is going to be a very hard game for the Wiz. The Jazz are the best rebounding team in the league, and they have some great bigs. I dont think that the Wizards will be able to compete with them downlow. Also, earlier this year after the Spurs lost 3 games in a row, they caught fire and have won about 5 games straight. Utah is going to be hungry for a win, so Washington is going to have to bring it. Even though I give Utah the advantage, anything is possible when you have a team like the Wizards, and even more so when you have Gilbert Arenas. If the Wizards have a very good shooting night, they can beat any team in the NBA. But that doesn't happen all nights...Especially against a team like the Jazz. Basically, Gilbert is going to have to have a big night, and guys like Thomas and Haywood are going to have to play good.
That was a sh*tty 2nd quarter.. it's halftime right now with Utah dominating 58-48. We need to get our heads back into this game and Jamison needs to be some kind of factor on offense. Utah is killing us on the boards (as expected), but we just need to hustle more, like they do. We need to fight fire with fire (is that how it goes, lol?) That dunk by Jarvis at the end of the 2nd half was kind of satisfying.
OH MY FUC*ING GOD. He done did it again. It's official. The Nickname "Agent Zero" is down the drain. Call him Mr. Clutch.
The Hibachi did it again! 51 points and a game winning three pionter which I've come to expect! Great victory, now it's time to look forward to the hard path ahead of us for the next 2 weeks.

Sorry I couldn't comment on this earlier, but WOW. GIL DOES IT AGAIN!I'm very happy that we got this much needed win against a strong Western Conference team like the Jazz. Good win.
Wow, despite being really busy on the computer (refer to sig), I'm still able to watch tv and sure enough I watched every minute of this game. I freaking went off jumping up and down when he hit that three so badly, that I accidentaly hit my hand on the ceiling, lol.
Wow, I flat out respect Arenas now more than anythng .. he's truly gonna be amazing throughout his nba career.
