Live. Pros: Live atmosphere. Cons: Expensive. No color commentary. Takes effort to trek to stadium and back. Bars. Pros: You can yell louder and get fucked up with your bros. Buffalo Wings. Possible sluts. Cons: Might be expensive if you drink a lot. Home. Pros: Cheapest option. No travel. Can get wasted. Cons: You stay at home so its kinda boring. Hard to feel connected with the community at large. Can get wasted but then what? eat cheese out of your fridge?
Home. Sit in my comfy chair, eat my food, drink my drinks, and yell at you people in the game thread.
Another pro for staying home is being able to pay more attention to the game and not missing the big plays.
I tend not to get too fucked up at games for some reason. Well, at least basketball. For the timbers game I went to I got pretty wasted and for college football i get fucked up as well. basketball seems so much more subdued when your indoors. I have gotten wasted at a few games and honestly i just kinda stopped following the game. Its kind of weird, when I watch a game live, I like to go by myself and not get wasted whatsoever. I kind of focus on the game...not as fun, but better for the pure basketball experience.
I said home, but what i like is mixing up all three. Home every time gets boring. Live every time is expensive and a big hassle. Bar every time gets tedious and makes me fatty mcfat.
I wonder this because I have always wondered what I would do if the Blazers would play in the NBA finals. I would always like to be there live in a championship clinching game...but honestly, in a bar in Portland with a bunch of bros would probably just be as fun and probably crazier. Just being able to take a beer and start a beer shower in the bar and doing all kinds of crazy shit would be dope.
Yeah, bars are awesome for the random stranger bonding and high fives. Although a house party accomplishes the same with better bj accommodations and less drug restrictions

Watching a huge game is different than watching a regular season game. If we made the finals, I want to watch it with a shit-ton of fans, be it live, at a bar, or at a friends house. But on a Tuesday game in December I would just rather watch it from my house.
you forgot another at home Pro: DVR, no commercials and fast forward blow outs. This is the winner for me on most occasions. Nothing beats a good live game though.
yeah, but I can always DVR and watch later. actually everything is archived on league pass i believe anyway.
