After everything this team has gone through this season with injuries, and now roy being out for who knows how long.... you know the slide starts tonight. I mean the schedule would be difficult with roy... but without I just dont think we have a chance. If it was 2 games, we might be ok. But 4 and beyond is asking too much. This team has overachieved but they were getting healthy and put in position to at leats make the playoffs. Its very sad to see them in this situation now without Roy after every thing they have gone through. They have fought and proved negative guys like me wrong. Amazing wins along the way but we always had roy... at least 90% of the time. Now I just feel in my gut the losing begins and the season slips away. Guys like HCp and others on here were calling for it at xmas and tehn many including myself thought January would be the end. However with the next 12 games looming... it just looks to daunting of a task for a healthy team with its best player. I just feel bad for teh team and franchise because to be where we are record wise is pretty insane. Now it will be all for not assuming roys out till the break. Its kinda heartbreaking as a fan to have to watch it and see teams that you know we are better then kick our ass. Really fucking depressing.

Alright... cue up the "next year"

    :dunno:

Roy is super important no doubt, but at least guard and wing is the one position where we actually have too many bodies.

Best case scenario Miller gets to put his stamp on the team by running the show, LMA continues his pattern of the past three years and has a huge second half of the season and maybe just maybe guys like Bayless, Rudy, Nic et al. have nice seasons with increased roles.

Worst case scenario is that we find out who is a keeper and who is a goner. But after counting the team out when Przy went down, I need to see the implosion before I'll believe it.

The depressing thing for me is that it's Roy's boneheaded deception about how he felt that is leading to his possible prolonged absence.

first... i just feel bad that they have come so far to lose their best player in this important stretch. thats all im saying. its just sad.

second... rudy is a shell of his former self. he looks awful. bayless is streaky as they come and blake is garbage unless hes wide open for three. milelr and la will have to get 20 + a night and martlell will need 15 to give us a legit chance to win.

Have you ever had a strained hamstring? They're an extremely tricky injury to guage. So you say 'deception' when the fact is, it's all guess work until there's an actual tear that shows up on an MRI.
