Man I can't believe Watson is done for the season.....though I don't think it hurts all that much I was still intrested to see him develop because for someone who held out for half of camp he looked pretty good. At least we have fauria to play in his place and he is a more than adequate replacement. As for Branch I have no Idea whats going on.....all I heard was he wanted back in the game after he hurt his knee and now after a bye week he is listed as Doubtful????? Hopefully Belichick is just playing games and is going to upgrade him tomorrow but I kinda doubt it. This one will hurt a little because Branch was turning into Brady's fav target. Patten is just going to have to step it up even more. Whats with this season....I have never seen so many injuries to key people in my life.
Watson is on IR? That's news to me. The Pats suffered more injuries than any team last year & won the SB. Obviously losing a Branch hurts but Givens & Patten will step up in his place no doubt.
ya Watson was put on IR last night and we signed Jed Weaver...whoo hoo Jed Weaver. No reason other than "Knee" was given for watson going on the IR...I just hope it wasn't ACL but it probably was.
