Since Dirk is on my opponents fantasy team, I would prefer he sucks tonight.

Since the Dallas game has actual implications to actual teams I actually like, I say fuck your fantasy basketball needs. :ghoti:

Yeah I'm rooting for the Mavs tonight.

But who knows maybe the Grizz lose a few of the others and we need a Mavs loss next week more than a Grizz loss.

Somebody will lose tonight; its a Win-Win for us!

The Mavs visit Utah on Monday. Best result for us is Dallas winning tonight and losing to the Jazz.

Yeah if Grizz lose tonight, Grizz lose to Warriors tomorrow, we beat Twolves; than we will clinch 6th seed; any Dallas loss after that will clinch the 5th seed for us.

Dallas plays Sunday against Clippers, Monday against Jazz, or Wednesday against Spurs; all before our final game. Only if they won out would we need to win that final Denver game.

Clips are resting everybody, they didn't even bring half their players to play in UTA tonight.

Sunday is up in air against DAL if they decide to rest again. It is a home game in LA, so you never know.

Yeah Clips play Memphis too. Dallas, Utah, gosh they play everybody. They certainly can rest guys; but at a point you need players to have rhythm; they can't rest everybody every game and just flip a magical switch in the playoffs.

Pop rests guys more than any coach; but he still plays most of them every other game. Its basically just back to backs he sits guys. Or if there's a nagging injury.

If I were running the Clips I'd have them rest or play halfway in all three games with Utah, Dallas, and Memphis just to make things difficult for us, and then ramp back up for the finale in Phoenix just to tune up for us.

If the Blazers take care of business on their last two games, the Mavs can't catch them since they already have 38 losses and the Blazers only have 37. The Mavs beating the Grizzlies would give the Griz 37 losses, which is the same as the Blazers, and would put the Blazers totally in control of their own destiny with respect to the 5th seed since they own the tie-breaker over Memphis. Go Mavs!

That would make sense if they weren't also trying to re-integrate Blake back into their lineup. They're going to need to play the starters together for significant minutes if they want them all on the same page by the time the playoffs start.

Yeah thats kind of what I was thinking. They don't have any practice in late game situations either. If they go into the last few games trying to lose it may be hard to jump right into the rhythm of trying to win a game over 48 minutes.

I'm a Blazer fan only. They win their final two games and they've done their job since two wins will mean that they can not go down in the standings.

I'll root for the Grizzlies to lose their final four games but I won't root for their opponent to win. In my head they are two separate things.

They'd be better served to have Blake sit out the rest of the season. He's not effective right now. I guarantee that after we beat them in the first round, the national narrative will not be about how incredible our overachievment has been, but about how Blake's injury ruined the Clippers' season.

Nooooo we want Dallas to lose tonight. Dallas has tiebreaker against us so they can still get 5th seed. If we want to clinch the 5th seed on Saturday, we need Memphis to WIN tonight.
