For the second consecutive game, the zone defense killed us. Right now, the Knicks don't have anyone capable of knocking down the perimeter jumper. The only 'real' shooter on the Knicks is Crawford and he's very streaky. Nate's also capable of knocking down the jumper, but he, too, is inconsistent. Frye is a great shooter, but the guards get more opportunities on the perimeter then a big man. That was one problem I saw with Allan Houston retiring. I knew we were going to need a player capable of knocking down the perimeter shot with some consistency and a big-time clutch performer. Originally, I wanted the Knicks to stand pat and not deal the expiring contracts, but how far can we go without someone who can knock down a jumper?
