hopefully Indiana will have problems keeping Harrington happy coming off the bench and they will be forced to deal him..

in the event he is available we NEED to deal Eddie Jones for Harrington and Austin Croshere...this deal would make Miami MUCH better in ALOT of ways, especially SIZE...WE NEED SIZE

Brian Grant and Samaki Walker as your CENTER rotation is NOT going to cut it, Lamar Odom playing as much PF as we are requiring him to is not ideal either.

Caron Butler is coming around slowly so shifting him to the starting 2 guard spot if EJones is dealt would be a smooth transition for him

Wade-Butler-Odom-AHarrington-Grant would be a playoff caliber team in the Eastern Conference no doubt with Alston,RButler,ACroshere,Haslem and SWalker off the bench...that is a legit 9-10 man rotation.

    wishful thinking

Indiana won't take Eddie Jones' contract - if they want to trade Harrington, they'll be able to get a better deal than that. He is a hot commodity at the moment.

    Harrington is a Small Forward
Odom also, but he can play Power thanks to his versatility.

And I'm not sure it would be great to have Harrington instead of Jones.
A.H is surely a great player in the waiting, but Miami needs some kind of a 3pts threat, because neither C.Butler nor L.Odom nor A.Harrington has a reliable 3 pts range. Harrington would not add something very different to what Odom & Butler can.
It would be better to trade Jones for a center, so that Miami could go with that kind of roster:

Wade - Butler - Odom - Grant - Center trade for Jones.

I think Harrington is a lot better scorer and rebounder than Jones. He also plays nice position defense and can score in a variety of ways. he would be a nice fit in Miami.

The Pacers will never take Eddie Jones.
