We should really pursue Gerald Wallace

I think out of the SF market, Wallace is the best price, and the best defender, while being an above mediocre scorer, and still averaging 18 a game. He would really help this team gel, and I think our roster would now be only missing a legit banger center type player, and we would have a chance to at least get into 2nd round contention and even maybe farther. He is like a modified better Anthony Parker if you ask me, it doesn't hurt to have 2.

Wallace could benefit in the Raptors up-tempo offense, but do the Raptors have enough cap to sign him? A sign and trade is possible, but I can't think of anything Toronto would trade to Charlotte that would be looking for.

Any combination of 2 of those three I think the Bobcats would be interested in, I hope at least.

Yeah I agree. But do you think he'll approve of coming off the bench? I'd give all Rasho, joey, and mo pete for this guy. He'll actually help us out.

Which is why I dont want 3 guys going for Gerald Wallace, and then we HAVE to trade for a big.

Nah I didn't really mean give up all those guys. I meant that we should do what we can to get Wallace.

Get real man...Charlotte doesn't want any of the players we have to offer. We're not gonna be able to bring in G-Force.

The Bobcats also need a swingman who can play the Gaurd espicially, which I see in Peterson, add 1 or 2 players, couple draft picks, it wouldnt be that lopsided.

The guy is a defensive force, and he's great at everything. He's also an athletic beast with alot of offensive potential. Now why in the world, out of all those offers, would they choose to trade him for Morris Peterson and Rasho Nesterovic, who is old, immobile, and has a big contract. There's gotta be alot of better offers than that man...be realistic.

someone is gonna pay him 11 mill a season just watch.he'd be a nice fit on just about any team, but with Bargnani playing SF and Bosh at PF, where does he play?the 2?would be a lot to pay for a guy who MAY not be able to adapt or find PT at his natural posistion.I doubt you'd have Bosh at C and scrawny Bargs at PF with Wallace at SF.2-3 years from now, that COULD happen, but wallace will be elsewhere.

That's probably the shittiest package Charlotte could get for Gerald Wallace. Mo Peterson, Joey Graham, and Rasho Nesterovic. All that does is give them an inconsistent player in Peterson, an offensive liability in Graham, and big stiff in Nesterovic. Peterson is an upgrade over Matt Caroll as the starting SG, however.

It's an area he needs to work on for sure.I absolutely believe he will though. He looks very promising so long as he is committed to being a great player.right now, too small to play C. (bulk/strength not height)

He'll play some PF, and have Bosh switch to C for a bit, or play PF when Bosh is out, but I don't see him playing much of the 3.You don't really need to be really bulky to be a Center. Chris is already a rebounding force and a go to guy inside and outside, so Andrea will just stretch out the defense. Look at Mehmet Okur for an example.

Well its not like we have much to offer outside of Calderon, and they dont need a PG. But we should still find a way to land him, everyone acts here like we dont need a SF.

Well we do need a SF, but we really need a guy who can get rebounds, and play defense. Anthony parker is a sick defender. He was injured for 4 games and we went 1-3, because we couldn't play defense for sh*t. And I can't tell how many times we lost games because we couldn't grab a rebound.

Thats what I'm saying man. It's obvious that we aren't gonna get Gerald Wallace.

Before we get someone that can rebound, I think we need a slasher, offensive spark outside of our rotation. We do have a center, but we dont have a SF, and instead of going for depth downlow we should fill our void at the 3

We need Chris to go inside more. He tends to settle for that shot more than he goes in. When he does that he's a threat. I've never really seen anybody going in a lot. When Graham goes in, he's impressive.
