<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">One plus has been the play of forward Chris Webber, who has scored 20 or more points in his last seven games and in 10 of his last 11. His teammates have noticed. "Older players, at the end of the season, they start to wear down - or players in general start to wear down at the end of the season," Allen Iverson said. "But that's not been the case with him. He's getting stronger, it looks like, and that's what we're gonna need. We're definitely gonna need his leadership, and my leadership, and the other guys to come and play their roles. It may change from night in and night out; certain guys may have to do certain things certain nights. "And Chris and myself might have to adjust as well. When our shot's not going down, we have to help out in other areas. Everything that we do from here on out has to be a team effort. I think if five guys play together on both ends of the court for the remainder of the season, we can make something positive out of this." Webber is averaging 20.3 points and 9.9 rebounds a game this season. Yet he's not the player he was before undergoing left knee surgery in 2003. He has, however, learned to cope. "I'm really blessed that I'm really feeling good," Webber said after scoring 54 points in the two games against New York. "I knew that at the All-Star break, I felt like I had enough time to find my game and deal with the injury. I wasn't happy with my production before the All-Star game. Without sounding arrogant, I felt I could do a lot more within our system, not because of anyone or anything. "Even when my body doesn't feel great, I feel like I know myself enough - I've played with this injury enough - to be able to navigate in certain games. I do feel like I'm getting stronger. That's why I keep saying I can't wait until the summer because then I can really work on other things that will allow me to do that next year and allow me to practice game situations - jumping off one leg and things like that. I really feel like I can get a lot better physically this summer." </div> link: http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?BRD=167...4&PAG=461&rfi=9
