Weber State has fired its coach after just two seasons. Jody Sears went 4-19 in his two seasons as coach of the Wildcats, who play in the Big Sky Conference. The northern Utah school announced Sears' dismissal Tuesday afternoon. Athletic director Jerry Bovee acknowledged Sears inherited a difficult situation but added that he didn't see the progress he wanted.
