I remember Nova showing some nads brushing back Joey Bat when he took too much of the plate. Could happen again, time to dust the Jays a second straight game. Hey Tex, if you're in the line up how bout showing some interest!!!!!!!!!!!

For Tex, ever since he uttered those telling words. it seems
he's cursed with that 'bump in the road' crap!

Witnessed a pitching performance this afternoon that
reminded me of Whitey Ford. Lefty Steven Matz threw
a Ford-like game...... sharp, precise and with poise & ease
........total control. Enjoyed watching this kid pitch.
    It's been a while........

...the Mets keep harvesting impact players from their own system...the Yanx harvest players from other teams.

    ...it's always something with him...Jesus.

...would not be surprised to eventually read about him going on the DL with a sprained vagina.

You know Ron, he is an automatic out anyway so let him go on the DL.

Maybe it's because he's whiffing so hard at the plate.

The one thing about this guy is.....when things are not going good, he always comes
down with an injury! And you can bet on it. Too predictable. Maybe he should see
a psychiatrist.....................but, I do admit the vagina scenario rates a bigger bang!

I think Bird and Severino made an "impact". But Trashman made Bird hurt his shoulder and hypnotized Severino into losing his control..
Matz certainly looks like a fine young LHSP...quite a few teams passed on him in the '09 draft- including some of our favorite very good GMs.

Anxious to see more of Nova and Toronto is a good test - they beat the crap out of him last September. He's still fairly young, hasn't lost his velocity and the Yanks need all the help they can get from SP.
For now, I'm grasping and hoping he needed a complete season to fully recover from his arm surgery - would be a big pleasant surprise if he can take hold of one of the spots in the rotation.

So much for Nova's lucky horseshoe....
fucking Headley fails to make a play on a swinging bunt with two outs and a runner on base- so of course the next batter hits a two run double, 2-1 Toronto, and the throw beat the second runnner out by five feet but McCann couldn't handle the throw.

    So much for Nova horseshoes.

    jeez

...lmao...Bird and Severino?...sorry, but there's a big difference in having a short-lived impact and being an true "impact player"...the education continues..

Dombrowski passed on Matz....is that one of the impact players you're referring to who the Mets have produced?
And how long have they been "impacting"...lol
