    NOTE: the starting time.

    RHP - Ivan Nova (5-3, 4.39 ERA)

    VS.

    RHP - Chad Bettes (4-5, 5.85 ERA)

Last night we got shut down early by a guy with an ERA near 9, let see how we do tonight against a guy with an ERA near 6.

The White Sox signed former Yankee outfielder Slade Heathcott to a minor league contract.

Do not tell the Stewardress, you've got a big pistol- she may be a He, but if you do, in the same breath, ask for 2 drinks before take off...

and make sure you use the right bathroom, no not the one on the left...

don't knock on the Cabin doors, and say your selling Girl Scout Cookies, or want to only look around... If Kareem Jabbar is in the cockpit, get off immediately...

Injuries coupled with waiting out the big contracts have brought the Yankees to this point. Teams are not sitting out there just waiting to send the Yankees their superstars in exchange for their garbage. Complaining about it is futile.

...^^^ truly a lesson in futility,

    and-

damn it, I'd love to see the Yanx sold to a Group, (with Jeter being a front man minority owner, majority if he could afford the loan)...
Futile as sunbathing in the Antartic in December....

Saw that article myself, question is what happens with Ref, or for that matter even Davis. Unless a major miracle occurs I can't see Tex being a contributor. The best thing that could happen for the Yankees is if he were sidelined with insurance picking up the tab. I cannot feel sorry for one who'd be out and drawing the rest of his huge salary recuperating.

Another dud with an ERA near 6 no hitting the Yankees thru three. Too bad the Yankees couldn't drop off Headley in Colorado and leave with Arenado. Wishful thinking!!!!!!!

Me thinks Tex is the Pavano of the new millenium- may he get that hangnail, or ingrown nail, any scratch to sit him back down...or send him home for good....

I am not going to hold my breath on this guy's return.
Besides, his stay will again be brief.

It's like I have seen this movie before. Ugh!

I am waiting for McCann to hit the IR list with a .216 BA! Really, who's next?

The wheels have truly fallen off this wagon. How many times will this team
reach a .500 record and then go into reverse?
