This should be a good game. Houshmandzadeh might have a good game, Rolle gets burned by every wideout he defends. I'm excited to see how McGahee will do.

I don't care about the subsequent make up call, the Ravens scored the tying touchdown and the officials took it away.

Exactly. Me either. Such a BULLSHIT call that PI was.

I don't think I've ever seen a game where the other team got so manyfucking breaks.

I'll admit, the pass interference call on Heap was terrible...but the Bengals were due to get some calls go there way after how last season went...

I literally threw my controller at the TV. That call was sraight up bull****. Not only did they call Heap for PI but the defender was grabbing his jersey! The whole Ravens offense was horrible, if McNair keeps playing like this we might see Smith sooner than expected.'

Billick did a horrible job calling the plays too. They were within 5 yards of the touchdown and had like 8 tries to score after the holding penalty, and all he mainly called were pass plays. They should have just gave it to Musa Smith and let him run it.

Omg 3rd down 1 to go and we throw the ball. Not to mention that BS call on Todd Heap. It was so clean it wasn't even worthy of reviewing.

I'm sorta disappointed at the Ravens so far. Throughout the whole offseason, they've boasted about the fact that they would still be a run-first offense with a little mix because of the fact that J-Lew is gone they can open the playbook more often. During the first 3 or 4 plays, there were nothing but passing. I'm glad we have someone like Demetrius Williams because otherwise we still had the same short passing offense that we've seen since the post super bowl team. I wouldn't say that we should have won it, but the Bengals clearly played a better game. They capitalized on all of the Raven's shortcomings like the turnovers, penalties, and injuries to key players like Mark Clayton, Jonathan Ogden, Ray Lewis (who came back soon though), and obviously Steve McNair. And though Boller was at the helm during those last minutes, I was pretty shocked he almost made us win it. It was obvious what he could do as a starter but when you look at his stats as a backup, it's pretty damn good, if I say so myself. I would be really disappointed if the Ravens didn't get a chance to even think about keeping him longer since McNair clearly isn't going to last for the next two years. I would like to see Troy Smith but he just hasn't proven himself worthy yet. And I wouldn't even wanna touch Byron Leftwich, he may be worse than Boller at the moment.

But there are good news. We actually have a legit deep threat in Demetrius Williams. I remember saying that he was a steal of the draft last year and he was certainly worth looking at with his size and speed. Also, Ray was all over the place. I think he racked up about 10 or more total tackles in that game. And the most obvious is that we might see more Boller since McNair is proving why he is injury prone.

Ray Ray had eight tackles. I just didn't like the play calling by Billick in the red zone. The refs also screwed us over this game. But that a pretty good blocking on that Ed Reed punt return.

I expected them to come out throwing. They said for a while now, they were gonna be more aggressive, and use more 3 WR sets and spread teams out because of McGahee. Then they tried to be aggressive later when they should have ran the ball down their throat.

Overall, there were some flukely mistakes and Ravens couldn't catch a break it seems and still had a chance to win. OL needs to gel better and protect him McNair more than they did. It's young.

Yeah, Idoubt we'd see Smith this yr, unless it's last game of the season or something. They'd start Boller over him. I'm just hoping the injuries aren't serious and Ray could play through the injury like he did last night.
