Not quite done. Will finish tomorow [IMG]O.K. here we go. We've been waiting for it. The start of the NFL Season and hence the time for week 1's power rankings. Things are still wide open for the pre-season often means nothing with starters not playing the entire game so the rankings could change completely by week two and I'll look stupid but here they go.1. New England PatriotsI can't think of anyone else who should go above the pats. They are favorites to win there 3rd title in a row and I wouldn't be at all suprized if they did just that.2. Carolina PanthersMaybe they won't have the best record but the Panthers like the Patriots have a great D and are favored by some to win the AFC and maybe even the Super Bowl.3. Philadelphia EaglesI nearly put them at 2 because they did so well in the pre-season but TO is likely to explode and wreck the team sometime during the season so I dropped them to 3.4. Pittsburgh SteelersTrue they will have a worse offense and Big Ben might not do as well as last year but they still have a great defense and that will get it done for them.5. Jacksonville JaguarsA young team with a good defense. Look for them to be a surprise this year6. Minnesota Vikings Only a bit above the Colts because of defense. Look for the Vikings to do well this year. Week one could change them ahead of everyone or much lower. Just depending on whether this will be the year they put the scraps together.7. Indianapolis ColtsJust below of the Vikings and only because of a bad defense. Manning will do it all again and the offense will be amazing but the defense just can?t get it done.8. Atlanta FalconsSorry Atlanta but Mike Vick just can?t pass well and thats going to kill the Falcons. A good team still but Vick still has a long way to go as a passer. 9. New York JetsSome people say they?re not this good yet but I think that they will be able to pull it together this year and make it a good one.10. Baltimore RavensAmazing defense but Boller is killing the teams offense.11. Oakland RaidersThe addition of Moss was huge. Look for a great passing offense this year but a not so good D.12. Arizona CardinalsThe talented young receiving core should benefit from the addition of Kurt Warner but the defense just doesn?t have enough experience yet.13. Kansas City ChiefsA great offense but can a new look defense get it done? It all remains to be seen.14. San Diego ChargersThey might lose a bit of ground but how can a team with LT do bad?15. Denver BroncosCan Mike Shanahan do it? Will the Broncos win a playoff game already?

And Vikings should replace the Jags spot.I cant get all my thoughts down cuz im in a hurry but ill post some more later

The Pats in my opinion are not even a top 3 team in the AFC anymore...they are not #1.

Lol looks like Tedy Bruschi, Ted johnson and Ty law really had meant alot to the defense. But some of their defensive players are young and pretty inexperienced but they will get there

Whoever said that about the Chiefs, ha. Your entire defense is based on derrick Jhnson being, well, Jonathan Vilma! And Trent Green is Injured..

Yea, you're right. They have a lot more than just hoping Johnson does something. They have Mitchell who improved a lot from 03 to 04. Then they have Surtain, Bell, Knight, Washington, new.
