Manning could play long enough to get 93 yards

The Indianapolis Colts' eight straight wins amount to the longest-active streak in the NFL.

During the streak, Peyton Manning leads the league in completion percentage, touchdown passes and passer rating, according to ESPN Research.

Manning needs 93 passing yards to get to 4,000 for the ninth time in his career. He is unlikely to play too much Sunday against the Titans in a game with no playoff implications for either side.

But he could play long enough to get those yards -- last season in a night finale against the Titans that meant nothing for Indy (but everything to the Titans and the Cleveland Browns), Reggie Wayne needed 70 receiving yards to overtake Randy Moss for the NFL lead.

The Colts fed him the ball early and often and got him 12 catches for 87 yards before he left the game in the second quarter. Manning threw the first 10 of those passes before yielding to Jim Sorgi.
