God damn, we were playing so well. Why do we have to suffer so many injuries? When we had the (almost) full squad we looked spectacular. Now we're back to being a good team that can't close the deal. We gained a little ground on ManU this week. Can't complain too much about that. But this is the second time we've failed to capitalize on their mistakes. We really need to get healthy. Fabregas, Walcott, Van Persie, Vermaelen, Fabianksi, Song--I don't know how many teams routinely have to play without so many starters. Granted we've played well with only two or three absent but it just compounds each week. Really frustrating to be within reach, touching first place with our fingertips, just to lose footing and have to start over again.
ManU loses, bailing us out yet again. Can't say we only have bad luck at this point. A revenge win at West Brom will tie us with ManU at first on points. They have a three GD advantage right now.
