Van Persie and Walcott ruled out.

Nasri is nearly match fit but I doubt we'll put him into a game as rough as this one should be.

    Come on you Goooooners!

Just when Walcott was starting to look the shit, he gets a nice little injury.

Walcott gets more injuries than Madonna gets knobbed and at the start of every season he promises so much and then he just poofs away like a cloud of smoke!

Van Persie is now a myth at the club. Great player but rarely seen on the pitch.

Vermaelen is out with a minor Achilles injury. The Squall will replace him.

    Good performance by Arsenal.
    Almunia's gaffe was embarrassing.
    Bolton were rough, as expected.
The red card was for a blatant tackle off the pitch. Can't complain too much.
Hopefully Diaby is alright. Hard to come out of a game like this without at least one knock.
Arshavin is a cheeky little runt.

For fuck sake, that wasn't Almunia's fault!

He comes out and flaps at balls he can't get too often.

He wouldn't of had to come out at all of Koscielny didn't make that awful back pass. That is a situation he couldn't help.

Anyway, three-points. Fairly decent game for us but Koscielny and Seb were on different wave lengths for a bit.

Almunia at his best and wenger must be happy. Other than that, we looked good. No walcott, no problem since we got Chamakh, what a freakin bargain so lethal in the air. Song looks old as fuck with that hair. Vela actually scored without chipping it, sweet!!!!! Meanwhile Vander fart and Gallas must be regreting signing for the shite, already fighting relegation in Sept....lol, Champions League???...your taking the piss.

Gallas was actually at fault for the Chris Brunt goal.

Cesc Fabregas made BBC's Team of the Week while Alex Song and Sebastien Squillaci made the bench.

Cesc looked great. Barca will no doubt continue to try to unsettle him. Song has got to be the most solid player in midfield, the guy looks boss, if you compare him to 2 seasons ago when he was terribly shit and annoying, the man has improved in just about every dept., he looks confident, fuck flamini. As for the Squillaci fella he indeed looks pretty impressive, I guess I was wrong ronan.
