    btw, imagine is that finnegan johnson fight happened in the NBA. how long would they be suspended for? at least 20 games a piece.

    How about MLB fights? Guys head hunting, whole teams fighting, someone threw a chair at a fan a few years back.

    Stern is a douche but hes also under pressure because when NBA guys fight its "thuggery" but when NFL fights happen its just "smash-mouth football". And when MLB guys fight its just "boys being boys".

    yup ...and hockey incorporates fighting right into it's games.

    That's why I laugh when something stupid happens like a hard foul in the playoffs, and fans are crying for the player to get suspended for it.
