this has been quite a weird summer for raptors fans. most ppl thought that we would get players by making trades. instead, not a single trade has been made yet. ppl also expected few free agent signings. so far, we have signed 5 players (Moiso, Palacio, Bateer, Williams, and Brunson) and we r likely to add a couple more (as gg said). what happened? who knows...maybe gg will pull off a huge deal soon...
Great job GG on signing a bunch of 3rd string players! I guarantee that if the raps don't sign any slashers or penetrators we will have an abysmal season and have the least amount of trips to the charity stripe. Free throws win ball games and thats a fact! Wake up GG, u Nate Huffman lover!!

I think we just need to upgrade at center. Point we have Alvin solid Starter with Palacio good backup and Brunson and Hunter. Shooting Guard we just need a backup. Small Forward we have Peterson and Murray to battle. Power Forward we are very deep. Center is weak AD is to small but I dont care if he does his job. Just get a center and a backup shooting guard.

Just get a center and a backup shooting guard.</div> obvioulsy we can get a SG and a C but i would like to see a big trade that would get rid of a lot of our crappy players and even some good players. we need a new look to our team. i think we can do better with the starting 3 spot. mopete is too inconsistent and murray brings virtually nothing on defence. at the point, alvin is a good player but we could do better. maybe we can get a good point and bring alvin off the bench or move him to SG and move vince to sf. im just wondering, who do we have at power forward that makes u think that we r very deep?
We have JYD,Bradley,Moiso and Bosh at power forward thats deep. Who could we get thats better than Alvin? Mo Pete is young so he is a bit inconsistant but under a new coach should help. Murray will be solid his job is to score not defend. Mo pete is a great defender and underrated one.

Since the Raptors cap is almost filled, I think these were good signings considering on what we need and also because of financial status. You can't expect much, the Raptors are a better team now than they were when we were facing Philly in the playoffs. Now this season depends on Vince, which it has for the past 5 years, so if he's healthy they could easily take the Bucks' spot in the playoffs now that they won't be going anywhere. As for your "slashers" comment, what do you think Lammond Murray is for? He's excellent at getting to the line.

Mo pete is a great defender and underrated one.</div> we have a lot of young, inexperienced PFs full of potential but i think we can still upgrade that spot with a veteran. the point guard spot is pretty much done already after signing brunson and palacio. i would have liked it more if we got a backup penetrating PG but i guess that wont happen. i agree that mo is an underrated defender but his inconsistent play hurts the raptors too much. i think we just need to add some veteran players.

Palacio and Brunson are not good signings. gg could have done MUCH better. both palacio and Burnson are one dimensional players. all they can do is play defence. they cannot score AT ALL. brunson's best scoring season was his rookie season. how many points? less that 5! Bateer is a player who will not produce anything next season. same goes for George Williams (who tha fu<k is he anyway?). gg has broght in 5 players. 4 of them suck. instead of bringing in those 4 crappy players why couldnt he just bring in ONE ok player?
