I liked this signing. I enjoyed watching Ambrose play during his stay in Cincy. He is a little long in the tooth, but when/if Warfield receives word of his 4-game suspension for his 3rd DUI, we will have another veteran to fill in during the void. I also think his experience will help our younger guys and personally, I think he will beat any of those clowns out for the nickel position after Warfield returns.

The acquistion will upgrade an already improved secondary w/ 2 former 'phins.

KC may actually be able to slow down the Raiders passing game.

All the Raiders are gonna have is Moss. Porter hasn't played up to his potential yet and like I said Collins isn't what he used to be. KC has a good team this season. I like their chances at the playoffs.

Any upgrade in the defensive area is good for KC. Good luck, it looks like you are at least making an effort in your problem areas.

I'd like to compare this signing to when the Vikings signed Cris Dishman in 2000. He was over the hill, and didn't do a damn thing for the Vikes. I can't see Ambrose doing anything significant this year.

yea, the chiefs defense needs a lot of help. This year they have the stars, but i dont think their defensive coordinator is any good. They need to find a new one. They have enough stars to rank in the top 15 in defense, if they dont make it to that, then they should fire the D coordinator

What! Gunther sure didn't have any of those "stars" last year. I think he has already proven his competence at coordinating a defense. Give the guy a little time.

they would have been better off signing ty law. 85% or 50% still would have been better for them. all i have to say is good luck, this team will never have a good defence, at least not good enough to compete again most of the other teams.

I think KC might have done enough to make a colts style run this year.....and If DJ can make an immediate impact they could be dangerous...

Yea the defense should be so so so much better this year, but now that the defense is fixed, the offense is getting older and older. Morton is gone which is a big loss for the #1 offense, and Holmes was injured last year.

Next year they should bring some young offense players in through free agency and the draft

Do you actually read football news. We've make some decent upgrades via free agency this offseason.

yea, that chiefs defense is gonna be good next year if no one gets injured.

Surtian was a huge pickup. Two great LBs picked up two.

The chiefs and the vikings had the best offseasons this year

    Sammy Knight
    Patrick Surtain
    Kendrell Bell

Those are all Pro Bowl caliber players. Add Derrick Johnson who is the best defensive player drafted, the Cheifs could make a run for the SB. I can hardly wait until a couple weeks before the season opener and we all start to make are predictions. It's going to be intresting.

Its gonna be good to see how the chiefs and the vikes defense is gonna be. They both could be great defenses if all the pieces work togther.
