Anybody know if there's any plan for a gathering of fans to meet the team and congratulate them? Tremendous season.

Longest PO run since 75-76 season? Ending 13 years of PO drought? Sure, I would love to see them getting a welcome party...

I remember when the Bucs won the Super Bowl, tons of people went to Tampa International airport and cheered as the team plane arrived. Maybe something similar could be done for the Warriors?

That was my thinking, yeah, but I don't know if there's something that's team planned, or if it'd just be on the fans to show up. Dunno how that stuff works.

Yeah it wasn't planned for the Bucs. All of the fans just waiting that night until the plane came in. Then the players talked to everyone, signed autographs, etc.

The Warriors did an excellent job, but they were so shorthanded plain and simple. How many of those in the "8 men rotation" actually produced enough to give star guys in the running game enough rest to keep going? Very few... I hope Nelson and Mullin have bought time to figure out what they want to do next because we weren't going to go for a ring this year (not after sucking for so long and barely making it in the playoffs). It's going to be awesome next year if they can find the right moves! Don Nelson and draft day will be fun!

Good job Warriors on this season. Now let's work harder on getting that ring now that we're no longer the league's decade long embarassment.

It was fun while it lasted. Bottom Line, Sloan got the Warriors to play a "show them up" style of game. Jackson and Davis reverted to trying to beat the guy they were guarding in the 2nd half, instead of finding the open player. I loved the effort and emotion. Let's hope for a great off season without losing too much. I still believe... now we need to believe in Nellie and Mully
