Looks like the rumors are true and Robben is moving to Madrid. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MADRID (AFP) - Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea's flying Dutch winger Arjen Robben according to reports in a Spanish newspaper on Saturday. AS claims that Real have come to an agreement with the father and agent of Robben and are waiting for Chelsea to rubber stamp a 20-million-euro transfer. Robben is currently in negotiations with Chelsea over a contract extension until 2012, although he has not always been in favour with the club's Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho. The 23-year-old is thought to be among Real's top three summer transfer targets alongside AC Milan's Brazilian playmaker Kaka and Arsenal's Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas.</div> Real agree deal with Robben, says Spanish press - World Soccer - Yahoo! Wow, I thought it was settled that he was staying at Chelsea and I really wasn't expecting this. He'll do well at Real Madrid and hopefully he'll take over from where Beckham left off and not stay on the bench or get injured.
i think he'll tear them apart. the spainish game is alot more suited to wingers and robben is one of the best, so it might be a blessing in disguise. plus, madrid r revived again after winning la liga
I thought he would have stayed at Chelsea. He is more suited to the spanish game so he should play some good football there. Good luck to him.
good.. another good plaer arsenal dont need to take care of this season.. fabio wont leave to them.. i hope
Thats not true... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Real Madrid have confirmed they are interested in signing Chelsea's Arjen Robben. Robben has been strongly linked with a move to the Spanish champions in recent weeks with reports in Spain suggesting a deal is close to being agreed. However, Chelsea insist Robben is going nowhere and that they are in talks with the Dutchman over extending his contract at Stamford Bridge. Robben has been a long-term target for Real president Ramon Calderon and Real's sporting director Predrag Mijatovic has admitted they have been keeping tabs on the winger for some time. However, Mijatovic admitted any move for Robben or any other players will have to wait until the find a replacement for Fabio Capello. </div> continues here
If he doesn't go then that's good for Chelsea and the Premiership in terms of excitement. In the article which Wolf posted it says that they won't move for any players officially until they have a new manager so maybe he won't even want Arjen Robben in his squad.
