What are our needs? Who should we resign? Who should we let go? Who should we trade? Who should we trade for? Who do we go after as a free agent? We shall see.

At the very least you start with what we know. Richards will be gone via a buyout and I doubt they bring back Stralman. Brassard and Boyle need to be brought back. It's a fine line on resigning guys because you want to also better the roster but don't want to have to replace too many guys.

I agree on Brass. Boyle will want too much money for what he is. I can see another Prust situation.

Stralman will be gone because he will want $$$.
Boyle I bet comes back around 2 per.
Brass I would lean towards back, but if he gets a good offer maybe not.
    Richards gone by 6/25.
Will be interesting to see how much Kreider and MZA get as RFA's.

    And McDonagh with the C?

And add a big physical dman please.

Not just a big physical guy. The guy with a booming shot. Except for Mcd, none of the dopes we had on defense can shoot.

This series the lack of a point shot was a huge difference. They need both big physical punishing Dman and a big shot on the point

It hurts that they struggle so greatly to get a shot to the net from the point. That's where having guys like Chara and Subban is such an advantage.

Not sure we can get both though. If I had to choose hands down I go the big physical top 4 dman. We clearly need toughness back there. And I expect 50 + from McD next season.

I doubt Ottawa does that. They don't want Nash's 7.8 mill per cap hit. And they would want some youth back as well in addition to a solid NHL player now.

I am all for trading Staal if it means getting a physical guy with a booming shot. Cant rely only on Mcd for all offense from the d.

Just tired of watching big teams have their way with us in front. We need that to stop. Too bad McIlrath is on the 12 year plan.

Another thing is that next season this team needs to get better on home ice.

If Boyle dosen't want a raise maybe bring him back for another year but he really only does much in the playoffs. Id like to see where Lindberg is developmentally, he seems pretty close.

i cant see too many changes, i mean why would we want to change too much, we just almost won the cup.... richards bought up, should of never been brought here, dumb move, dude comes off a concussion in his 30s and we give him 7 mil lmao, stupid.... and the sad part is all of you guys wanted him at the time for some strange reason.....

brassard needs to come back, he is good and going to get better, hes actually good on the pp aswell.... of course boyle because he is a good 4th line player, 4th line key word 4th. and pker.

strallman out due to cash, oh well he is replaceable,

we need a center, and some D. if we could get a couple players with size that would help, a d with a good shot of course as stated, we should see what gabby is going for i doubt it tho, he just had 14 goals in playoffs and is going to want to stay in LA.

Krieder will get better, not sure about others, hopefully everything works out

Stralman will get 3-4m but the Rangers really like him so theyd probably be willing to go there if they can fit it. Richards money needs to be well spent on the best C they can.
