Wells, one of the Rockets' biggest acquisitions of the off-season, returned to the practice court Tuesday after missing the past four days for unspecified personal reasons.

Good to hear Wells is back.

No surprise, I was expecting Azubuike to get released.

We are down to 17 players and must release 2 more before the season opener on Nov. 1.

Sura and Bowen? If Sura is healthy then I won't have any beef waiving Padgett.

Honestly I hope Sura retires, I don't know how much he can help and Padgett we know what he can provide.

^^ Exactly, I agree. I think Sura and Jacobsen should get cut, I want Rbyo for his hustle and his D and Padgett for his 3's.

    ^^

    I dunno....
I would rather keep Sura for one more year and release Bowen. We already have Padget, so we dont need Bowen. I like Padget more.

I want Sura out of here if he is still injured. This acting like he is going to make this comeback crap is really pissing me off.

If he is fully healed (doubt it) then I want Bowen and Jacobsen outta here.

But knowing CD/LA we wont buyout Sura's contract and we will cut Padgett, and Jacobsen.

His defense??? Common...literally the only position he can play is SF. Hes to bad offensively to play SG and is to small and thin to play power forward for this team. His defense won't get him anywhere. We are also stacked at SF.

Yea I agree. Bowen pretty much doesn't do anything but hustle. He can't play anything outside of SF and with Padget there I dont see the use in him.

I think some of you guys are overrating him defensively. Hes not a lock down defender. As rockets fans we tend to say biased things to make the situation more positive...

Come on, who here thinks Bowne is NOT a good defender. I dont think hes anything special...

I'm tired of people saying he locked down Dirk during the playoffs. Tmac locked down Dirk. Teams just don't get it. The only way to gaurd dirk to the point where hes worthless is to put an athletic, tall swing man on him that is allready good defensively. TeShaun Prince, Lebron, Carmelo, Marion, Ron Artest, Tmac. I wanna say Shane Battier, but Tmac would be a better option if hes healthy.
