I like the last line of the article.

And as an American who wants a non-American to manage the national team, I disagree, though I do see his point. And there are matches that are insignificant, but remember that there was also a time where Hungary was the best in the world and now they're an after thought.

I want a non-American to manage the team as well agoo.

I don't agree with him at all. Take Yugoslavia for example, they were pretty darn good when it was one country but things weren't going that well for the people inside Yugoslavia which meant they had to go their separate ways. Now you have Croatia who can beat any team in the world and IMO are a top ten 10 at this point, then Serbia who are still good, Bosnia and Kosovo, are up and comers, Slovenia competes very hard even though they won't win anything anytime soon, then you have Macedonia and Montenegro which in their own right are pretty good teams when compared to a lot of teams in the Eastern Europe.

Sounds like he would prefer radio over television and telegraphs over telephones too

^ Lol, he's an old timer cpaw.

Great coach but sometimes makes controversial comments. And he's French by the way, so gotta cut him some slack.

I don't agree with Wenger, in fact to me International football has become even more interesting with more countries. There is far more to follow and keep track of, which suits me perfectly.
