My boss was very sick in January. I thought he had the flu but he says it was fever, cough and that he tested negative for the flu. I social distance from anyone who is sick and have for years. Probably 70 percent of the shop got sick at the time. Fast forward to March 1st. Went to my first ever hockey game and saw the Knights get wasted by LA. We were packed in like sardines. Standing outside with thousands of people. Up until recently the shutdowns started we had 5 gazillion visitors from all over the world. I keep watching the NV statistics and they aren't spectacular by any means but they aren't anything like NY. I suppose they could get much worse but I keep wondering if we didn't already get hit with this. I even remember yelling at my wife in January because she kept saying people "called out sick" I grew up with "called in sick" and I hate the change, people want to argue it is more accurate to say it the new way. I don't care. Point is that they had tons of hair stylists miss work early this year. https://www.yahoo.com/news/fauci-on...ers-of-coronavirus-not-anymore-161718057.html
