Last night I went to an FDU vs Monmouth University College basketball game. I wasn't expecting much, two small colleges, a so-so game. The star FDU player, Andre Harris, was shutdown the whole game and Monmouth was winning 34-24 at the end of the half. Seemed like the game was over, the energy was drained from the entire crowd.At one point during the 2nd half FDU was down by 18 points and it looked like there was no chance of coming back. FDU slowly started creeping back all the way to the three minute mark where it was now acknowledged that they might actually win the game. Coming off the bench, Eric Hazard tied up the game. at 63-63. Monmouth has the ball and due to a bad call by the refs one of the Monmouth players goes to the line. He hits the first one and misses the second one. With no timeouts, FDU quickly rebounds the ball with 6 seconds left on the clock. The guard quickly drives up the court with time winding down and passes the ball to Manny Ubila, who was off the entire game shooting 0-5. He drived to the basket and hit a 12-foot teardrop when the buzzer sounded. The whole place was jumping up and down, it was amazing.I haven't been to an NBA game and I've never been to a game that exciting before, only watched it on tv. The buzzer beater was on sportcenters top 10 plays of the day. I think it was number 1, not sure. Anyone get the chance to see it?

Yeah, its pretty cool knowing that you were at that game. It could have happened at any college game, but it ended up happening at the one I went to. It's awesome.
