Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? Well, the Wizards took Nick Young at 16 which I'm incredibly estatic of. I just love his addition on this team, and him paired up with Gilbert is such a pretty sight to see. He's a much better ball-handler than Stevenson and has a more reliable mid-range jumper. Midway through the season he could very well become the starting SG on this team. In the 2nd round, we went for Dominic McGuire, who wasn't a terrible pick.. very strong SF defensively, averaged close to 10 rpg and 4 bpg. He has a tremendous wingspan just like Young and has great versatility. I'd rate our draft 8.5/10. What about you guys?
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? No. Nothing special and we traded another pick for cash, while another team did the same with Portland and also got a 2nd rounder with it. WTF?
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? I'm happy with Conley. I think he'll turnout good and turn into a franchise PG type player. Let's get it started!
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? Nick Young was the player I wanted most in the draft. Stuckey was the player I wanted least. So Nick Young drops to 15 as I had hoped the whole draft...and of course they take Stuckey.Happy? Hell no. But I will trust Dumars...but if Nick Young turns out to be a deadly 20ppg scorer and Stuckey is a Darko bust..I'm sorry Joe..but you gotta go...to many mistakes made with such a good setup team.I DID love the Afflalo pick though. I have liked him for a while though, and it was a bit unexpected that we'd pick him for me..so it made me quite happier. I think Afflalo will be a better player then Stuckey...call me crazy.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? not in the slightest. We get a euro scrub who will never amount to anything and a trade that is bad for both teams.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? I'll speak for BCB when I say he was extremely happy with the pick the Bucks made.
Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? I'm very happy with what Ernie brought to the table in Washington. Nick Young is an aggresive scorer with a 7 foot wingspan who will likely take over DeShawn's starting SG role. It addresses what Gilbert wanted in the draft and much more importantly a scorer on the bench. Dominic McGuire went un-noticed but as a SF he averaged 10 RPG and 4 BPG! He's got hops and should be a tough defender off the bench. I'm very happy, nice job Ernie!

Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? Julian Wright was a steal for the Hornets at 13, but unless he improves his shooting, he's going to be stuck on the bench behind Devin Brown. CP3 needed another scoring option to look to, and Nick Young was the perfect guy for that role. But now Wright will become a bit of a project. As far as our second rounder, Adam Haluska, I like this pick especially because Haluska is the type of scoring threat that we need. He's got great athleticism, and he knows how to create his own shots. I think Adam will be a great bench option, and could surprise a lot of people by becoming a starter in the future, but he may not pan out. We won't know for another year or two.

Re: Were you happy with your team's draft? The C's got decent players for 2nd rounders, so sure I guess.
