West Ham have made an audacious bid for Barcelona's Thierry Henry.

Henry has been heavily linked with a move to the MLS but West Ham chairman David Sullivan insists that he can still play at England's top level.

The portrayed contract will see make Henry West Ham's highest paid player in their history. £75,000 a week, £7.5 million total.

Henry would make twice that $$$ in the US or Middle East.

Yup, seems like the Middle East and MLS is the place for the washed-out players to bounce back on.

He wouldn't make that money in the US, let alone twice that money.
