    I just read a report saying West Ham have put in a bid of ?17m for Darren Bent paying him ?75,000 a week, as much as I dont want him to leave Charlton thats alot of money which we could use to bring in more talent, I would say he is no way near worth as much as that but I doubt Pardew will be complaining. I think they've only offered that because Curbs is desperate for him back, what do you guys think?

    West Ham are paying the price for mouthing off about how much money they have to splash. The next Newcastle, in my opinion. High transfer fees and extortionate wages.

    The Mekon is rich but he's not that rich.

    You's are forgetting somethnig real bad, Charlton are relagated. you suffer when you relagated, and have to compensate by selling your best assest for funds which are affordablew for the club t have budgets for enxt seaosn, so if you ask me bent is worht 17 millino for Charlton's sake.

    LOL why are players temted by west spam. Take Parker for Example. Captain of probably the 5th-7th best team in the EPL then he goes to the Hammers?
