From nfl.com PHILADELPHIA (Dec. 6, 2005) -- Running back Brian Westbrook will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury, the fourth Pro Bowl player the Philadelphia Eagles have lost for the season in the past month. Westbrook injured his foot Dec. 5 in the first half of a 42-0 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. An MRI exam confirmed Westbrook has a Lis Franc injury. Westbrook, who recently signed a five-year extension, had nine carries for 17 yards in the loss to Seattle. On the season, Westbrook had 156 carries for 617 yards and three touchdowns, along with 61 catches for 616 yards and four touchdowns. Other Pro Bowl players lost for the season include quarterback Donovan McNabb, wide receiver Terrell Owens, cornerback Lito Sheppard and left tackle Tra Thomas.
Everything bad that could happen, has pretty much happened to the Eagles this season. As if they weren't missing a lot already, now Westbrook is gone, thats tough. Good thing the season is almost over, they can start looking forward to the draft and off-season.
Well, i did trade for him in fantasy .....so off course hes out for season....I did the same thing to Ahman Green earlier in the season....
I had Culpepper(but traded him before the injury)....I had Ahman, he got hurt(gave up Hines Ward for him)....had Westbrook(gave up Droughns and Seattles defense for him), hes out....I have no idea how I made the playoffs, but i did....
God, the eagles will not play in the NFC Championship game for the first time in four years. They sucked against the Seahawks. Wonder what will happen to T.O
This week has sucked for injuries. Ray Lewis, Will Peterson, that corner from seattle that had 2 TDs in last weeks game.
