I know it's crazy early , but with all the turnover and injuries out west things are going to be as crazy as usual! Can OKC go the whole season without injuries again? Can Yao come back as good as ever? Does Utah and PHX crash with their star PF's leaving town? Do we stay healthy? Rank your playoff teams! 1-LA 2-PDX 3-Dallas 4-OKC 5-Houston 6-Denver 7-SA 8-Utah
HCP, I will submit the annual Western Conference Prediction Game, with prize, when training camp opens. Of course, people can predict in more than one thread...
1. LA 2. PDX 3. Dallas 4. Houston 5. Utah 6. SA 7. OKC 8. Denver/NO depending on if melo gets traded or not. 7.
Since this isn't Crandc's official prediction thread, I'm just going to do this to warm myself up. 1. LA (Lakers) 2. OKC 3. PDX 4. Houston 5. Dallas 6. Memphis 7. Utah 8. LA (Clips)
1. LA 2. Dallas 3. Blazers 4. SA 5. Denver 6. Utah 7. Houston 8. OKC I expect teams to figure out how to stop the young kids and also they had virtually no injuries it catches up to them this year.
I'll wait until training camp for specific projections. But with Houston now out with Yao pretty much out again, and no way OKC repeats the perfect season with no injuries, so I think it is clearly a three-way race between LA, Portland and Dallas with Denver the only team with a shot at being within 3-4 games of those three teams.
The Thunder weren't impossible to stop (they had a very mediocre offensive efficiency) it was the way they defended that made them so good.
Isn't that what Nate was doing with him in the first place? I guess Oden did play in second games of back-to-back, so I guess Nate's not that bad. Yao's got a lot more mileage on his tires.
This is just my prelude to crandc's yearly game, as things will most likely change between now and then. 1. LA 2. Dallas 3. Portland 4. OKC 5. Houston 6. SA 7. Utah 8. Denver
They will be to start the season. Then they will remember they are the Grizzlies and promptly suck ass. Either that or thier absolutely horrid owner will fuck the team up by making an insane trade.
