I've always been the first to jump on the PK bandwagon, especially when it seemed that he was behind the recent trouble regarding Jose. However, I'm soon of the opinion that without him, Jose would have already left by now. According to all reports coming out of the club, Kenyon has been Jose's only supporter and constructed a fragile truce between RA and JM.

Lets face it, Kenyon was heavily influential in bringing JM on board, and has always publicly shown his support for the manager and players. Greenberg said on CTV that he has never seen a better working relationship than that between JM and PK.

So despite the fact many of us think that he's a true Manc, whose only interested in promoting the "Brand", I want to show some gratitude and appreciation for the role he's adopted during the current crisis. There are reports he will follow Jose out, and that would be truly catastrophic and line the path for a Dutch/Russian revolution at Chelsea.

Put it this way, if PK left and RA and JM both stayed, I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep.

If RA left it would be a disaster of epic proportions; if JM left it would be a tragedy; if PK left - who cares?

It wouldnt be a 'disaster of epic proportions' Chelsea would go back to being a top 6 team behind the big boys. All the long term blues would still go and the tourists would go to the emerites...hardly a disaster.

PK was brought in by RA to do a job.His position is clear- make C.F.C profitable and not be your 'mate.'

As a Director he has a legal responsibility to the shareholders to act on THEIR best behalf. He also has corporate responsibility not to disrupt the business side financially which could affect the share price etc.
As a Director you'd think you'd have carte blanche to say and do whatever you like without comebacks -from personal experience you haven't , you can't and you certainly have...

Either way if it's not him it'll be some other bloke you won't like either, all so called 'nice guys' in business -Branson for example- have men willing to do their dirty work in order to protect the boss.

Don't like the monkey? - blame the Organgrinder
