Man, I am watching the Celtics game(live in Boston) and I am so proud of what Baker has done. he battled back against alcochol(sp) and he has been playing great. Yes, he is not a star but he once was untill he hit that stage, know he is slowly returning to his vintage form. I know I should have posted this on the C's forum but I just wanted to hear some opinions on it here.
"Skinny Vinny" looks to be a great story this year. I loved him as a Buck because the man was a great basketball player. I am very happy for Vin Baker. I love having this guys on my fantasy team too.
Yea, Baker could be the CPOY.....but, only if Carter wasn't on a come back. Baker looks good though. Let's see if he can keep it up.
He looks like hes in great shape and great state of mind... I think that his 'comeback' was a leading factor in A. Walker leaving.
Carter a comeback player? That is a JOKE. Baker is a true comeback story because everyone wrote him off and his career was over.

Those who didn't know that were either blind or ignorant. Last year he was an All-Star while Vin Baker was being booed off of the court. Baker for CPOY!
Hey King James, if you would want to put together a Celtics sig with him pierce and a few other guys in there I wold be proud to have him in my sig. I just like the LeBron James one you made me to much.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post"> All right, who is going to show some love for Vin Baker and the Celts?</div> do you tjhink you could make that into a sig if possible, i'd like to use it. Thanks
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting olskoolFunktitude:</div><div class="quote_post">yea complete with "skinny vinny" logo</div> Hahaha... With Vinny in the post and playing well, he will serve Paul Pierce so much more than an Walker could ever do.
What i can't wait until is when the C's get a game on ESPN so i can hear Bill Walton say, "Throw it down,Skinny Vinny, throw it down!"
Great story, here's hoping he keeps it up though. Always been an emotional wreck, I'm gonna love to see what he can do in the East with a little bit of confidence.
so now we all know why they traded away Walker...looks like the Celts knew something that we didn't know from the start...
Walker is shooting .509 % from the field... ceriously consider that fact... But still, if he would start in Dallas his percentage would go down again under .400
