This is the year of bad luck for me in all of my Fantasy Leagues. I made the playoffs in two of three leagues and I've been ousted in both. Ugh... Beaten by Drew Bennett and Buffalo's defense, both of whom were picked up on waivers a few weeks back. Well...that and the rest of my team decided not to show up. In the other league, their scoring system is a complete waste of time. It's almost completely touchdown-centric. If you have a running back rush for 120 yards, that's the same points (six) as a back who has one carry for one yard and a TD. Again, a great team victimized by a bad scoring week. In this league? Well...we all know what happened here so I won't bore you with that. Every year I say I'm going to stop playing because I get so pissed off. Maybe this is the year I'll make good on my promise. Oy...
Kenn, we must have the same luck brother. In my two money leagues, I missed being in the money by one game. Beaten last week by Billy Volek and this week by Billy Volek. He was a free agent pick up in both leagues. Actually he was an IR pick up in both leagues. Woe is me....
Well, i havent played FF football in about 3 years, and this is the first time i have ever really taken it seriously. I personelly am having a nice year, but this is my only league. but i am alive at least till monday.
My failure to pick up Billy Volek and Jeff Reed cost me the game this week. I was going to make the changes, but I decided that my team got me to the championship game as is, so I didn't want to jinx them. As it turns out, my gut was right... I'm just a poor coach, apparently. I'm thinking about firing myself.
