<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Jerry West:</div><div class="quote_post">Been waiting 5-6 months for the first game. Very disappointing effort. </div> I could not agree more, the thing I found most disapointing was how no one got out on the fast break when J-will pushed it. The Grizzlies only had 11 fast break points and I cant remember any of them being when J-will was in there. Is Posey hurting? Because he did nothing last night only 3 shots.

What a let down but I have faith in my team and I believe that the Grizzlies will turn it around! It was just one game!
Obviously disappointing for the Grizz...but...weren't J-Will and Posey playing with injuries? I'm not 100% sure, but I know Williams was.
Well that's not a factor considering: Arenas was suspended - Gun Charges Hughes and Haywood suspened - Fighting Peeler suspened - Fighting Kwame, Blake and Etan were out - Injured That's 7 rotation players out, the only players playing the will really be in the rotation were Jamison and Hayes, Ruffin might be the last man in it, and Jefferies and Dixon will find it hard getting PT later on.
memphis just lost to dallas today. they're 0 - 3 i believe. this is pretty upsetting since they had such a productive season last year. i'd hate to see memphis ending up like Orlando last year. Hopefully Pau and J-Will will step it up.

Jason Williams and Pau Gasol have been playing worse than most people expected them to this season, but the big dissapointment so far has been James Posey. James Posey has been noticably absent from the action. He's getting two to four points every game with a lot of missed shots and a lot of turnovers. He's far from the James Posey from last season who would get fifteen to twenty points with great shooting, defense, and ball handling.
I've always thought they over achieved with the talent last season, and without any significant upgrades this season, it's going to be a tough out in the west. They have real problems running the offense especially in the second half and the 10 man rotation may hurt Hubie in keeping 5 best players on court.
I dont think their is a problem with Memphis they just started with a rough schedule, (Washington?) but i blame this on Dallas being better all around, and grown enough to keep their heads in the game, instead of losing it like Memphis did. BTW, Dallasdude what the hell are you doing with those Laker pics as your avatar and signature???
I like the lakers as much as I like the mavs and I'm rooting for both teams to meet in the West finals
