We need a mature PG, who has some experience, and able to hit the long rangers, no one better than Damon Jones out there right now.
Michael Finely is nearly impossible, if we team up Damon Jones with Devin Brown(who can take it to the hole), it's a pretty good back court. It doesn't look like Miami needs anyone else, so they might not even be considering about re-siging him. Just my thoughts...

If Jerry Sloan can overlook the matador defense Damon Jones plays, then he would be a great fit as you mentioned. I'm not sure if Damon will want to play backup, he still has delusions of grandure to start for a team, and wants a long term deal.

However, if Damon excepts coming off the bench, but getting minutes and the green light to launch the 3 ball, he would be a nice pickup for the Jazz.

Personally I like Devin Brown a lot for the Jazz's system.
