People are throwing out ridiculous numbers for brassard (4.5 per???!?!) and anton is looking around 4 mil per. now while i have no issue with paying anton 4 mil per. what about letting them both walk and packaging together something nice to bring in keith yandle from the yotes. true puck moving defensemen. Would fit in great with the rangers and on the second line with staal. guys a stud straight up. and with mac truck, girardi staal and yandle. easily best top 4 in the league. and moore and mclerath/allen is no slouch of a third pairing. just food for thought.
Yandle would be great, but I don't know that Phoenix is willing to deal him, or that the Rangers have enough to part with to get him.
Rangers have to be careful with trades b/c we've traded 1st rd picks recently and the farm will take a hit in the next couple of years.
