    SAN FRANCISCO--Just one day after signing a 6-year, $57 million contract with the San Francisco 49ers, rookie quarterback Alex Smith is demanding a new contract. He is reportedly dissatisfied with the original deal and is looking to renegotiate. His agent, Tom Condon, said he will sit out training camp until his demands are met.

    He would have done a lot better in his 1st year at Miami. Miami has a better running game, WR core, and defense than the 49ers
