That was amazing. They did lose the game off a bullsh** call that also screwed the Dodgers from passing the Pads in the NL West, but besides that, this was just a great day. Sad, but great. This was the last day of a great time in Arizona sports. Luis Gonzalez' last game, Craig Counsell's last game, Rich Dozer's(president) last game, Jay Bell's(first FA signing and bench coach) last game, Colangelo coming back to the stadium for the first time since he left the team, or dumped two years ago.... It was just such an emotional time. Gonzo and Craig meant a lot to the fans and the stadium was PACKED! They say that was maybe the biggest crowd in ANY D-Backs home game ever. It was great... Those two guys got standing ovations at the end and so did Miguel Batista who was a big part of the World Series team.Gonzo was such a huge part of this franchise and I will really miss him. He should be headed to the Hall of Fame. His stats are right there with all the other left fielders in the Hall. I've been pissed off at him so much the last couple years, but he really did mean a lot to this city and will really be missed. He's the franchise leader for hits, games, home runs, doubles and two other hitting stats that I just forgot. One of the classiest guys ever, he also did a lot for the community. Goodbye Gonzo! The new era starts next year. Bring on the Baby Bax.

Sorry, there was this dodgers fan at the game who was going crazy during the d-backs comeback. It's too bad they couldn't pull it off
