I really enjoy this more than basketball. Today's games were amazing.I started off watching 3 games at a time. LSU-Auburn, ND-Michigan, Oregon-Oklahoma. Good thing ND got their asses whooped because I hate them and it let me pay attention more to the other two games. The LSU-Auburn game was really close. Great defensive play after great defensive play and it all came down to the last possesion and I don't understand why Russell didn't wait and find another target or why the reciever ran such a short route but he got tackled at the 5. I'm bummed LSU lost but that was one great game. And I just have to give some props to the Auburn punter. He was great for them in this game. LSU had to start with bad field position so many times because of this guy. He averaged over 49 yards per punt and some were better punts.Oregon-OU was pretty good too. Both teams played very well. It kept going back and forth and Oregon won with a great comeback. Granted, they did get tons of help from a bad call or two but Oklahoma had several chances to win the game but they just couldn't do it. Then I watched ASU beat Colorado 21-3 in Boulder. A match-up between the 2 former Boise State coaches. The offense wasn't the greatest. There was so many mistakes, penalties, fumbles, INT's, but the running backs ran well and Carpenter threw for nearly 250 yards with 2 TD's. The defense is a lot better. They are 3 or 4 sacks away from already matching last season's total. They were very good today.Florida rallied to beat Tennessee 21-20. Boston College needed overtime again to beat a bad BYU team. Iowa just got past Iowa State with a really good 2nd half. Louisville stomped all over Miami. TCU beat Texas Tech 12-3. Clemson beat Florida St. Wow...Florida football is having some trouble this year. And of course you know what happened in the Nebraska-USC game. Also it was great to see UA have some troubles with a bad I-AA team. What a great day...I hope tommorow's NFL games are just as good.
Oregon-Oklahoma was easily the best I think. One of the better comebacks I've seen in a while. My hurricanes were disapointing though.
LSU-Auburn was a joke. The ref's in that game sucked. Its one of the worst I've ever seen..LSU got ripped off, and I hate to say this, but the ref's cost LSU the game.
You know, LSU is my favorite non-Pac 10 team but I don't think it was the refs. Sure there was that bad call taking away the penalty but LSU got some calls their way too and they still had a great opportunity to win but Auburn's D was just incredible.
