I’m having some people over and got a bunch of pork ribs from Costco. Gonna use a Japanese bbq sauce. Starting the traeger at 6am for those bad boys.

Wife is making a couple pitchers of mojitos.

No fireworks. Hate the fucking things.

Damn, @Chris Craig is having a feast! Just Lashanna and me. Grilling shrimp in lime and jalapeno marinade with corn on the cob. Latin influence deliberate. Then going to a protest.

What could any of you possibly be celebrating tomorrow? I actually served for this country and am too embarrassed to even make a bowl of cereal!

I'm with HCP on this one...nothing patriotic to celebrate this year. Just the wife and I will stay home and have corn on the cobb and oysters tomorrow with some smoked trout soup and rice with cherry turnovers. Garden salad and Taiwanese style steamed eggs. Wife gets the day off for the holiday.

Having delicious food is enough cause for celebration! Cheers! Carne asada sounds great!

I had my last alcoholic beverage on the 4th of July nine years ago. Polished off the last of my Irish whiskey in Bend with my in laws. Sobriety rocks! Don’t miss it at all!
