Apparently, Ron Artest is opting out of his contract with the Sacramento Queens (urgh..........excuse me, Kings)

The Lakers, Spurs, and Mavericks will show the most interest in him.

Also, RJ is out of the picture, he was just traded to Milwaukee for Yi Jianlian and Bobby Simmons.

Or was it on the radio, or ESPN News?

    Yeah, I read this yesterday.

    He's bi-polar, I swear.

He's rumored to be interested in both the Spurs and Lakers, which would mean he'd have to settle for the MLE unless a S&T is worked out.

    He's not opting out

That's just a writer's opinion. Ron himself already said multiple times that he will play out the remainder of his contract with the Kings. He has also stated that he will not play for MLE money.

Yeah, I saw Vecsey's name as well and questioned the article.
Who knows, can't lie ALL the time.
I wonder where he gets his sources........

Watch him sign with Boston for the vet minimum.

Why are these guys opting out of really big contracts? It must not be the money they are after, or they are delusional in thinking they can command more elsewhere.

    He's not opting out right?

So that means a trade would have to be involved for the Lakers to be able to get him?

And Denny, imagine that Brand, Artest, and Davis all signed for the vet min. [IMG]

I can see him opting out, but very doubtful.
