    No, no point at all, i was hoping Phil could win that one more championship and be known as the greatest Coach ever. Phil will most likley leave.

    IMO, he should not resign with the team. It has nothing in for him, it will only further destroy his winning record.

    I'm not sure what PJax does at this point. He's basically in the same situation he was in 3 years ago, I can't see him sticking around. Everyone wants out, Kobe, Rambis, Shaw, makes sense for PJax to follow their lead.

    That is another thing that has gone unmentioned...the assistants want out. There has been news about Shaw pleading for the Indy job.

    I think Phil will step down if Kobe leaves. He doesn't want to be a part of a building team. I then expect him to fully rip Jim Buss and the Laker organization another new one right next to where Kobe left his mark. Eventually, there will be a rift between Jim, Jerry, and Jeanie.

    If Phil wants to coach another team, my guess is that he would want to go to a veteran, contending team, but it would probably be hard for people to learn the triangle immediately.

    I don't see him coaching, but I could see him getting into upper management. He wants another ring and he knows what he needs to get it done. Jim Buss hasn't given him that opportunity to get things done. If he was running a team, he's got fair game.

    I can see him taking a year off, and then comeback if the situation is right. I wonder how this effects his relationship with the Jeanie Buss.

    Seeing as how Jeanie called out her bro, I don't think it would effect her relationship much. She knows that Phil wants to win...and I'd venture to say that she knows the organization wants to build.

    Think Phil is going to stay since he is Dating Jeanie Buss plus if the Lakers get a good trade for Kobe (cross fingers) he might pull out a miracle i hope he stays we can't afoord to look for a coach we all ready have to many problems with Kobe wanting out of LA.
