Manchester united and Seville have just won trophies due to their players hard work over a long period, besides receiving medals and posing with the trophy bonuses (chicken change to most of them), what else do they receive as a momentous, either from their clubs or the competition governing body - does anyone know? A new car, free air miles, commemorative watches etc?
There was a time when winning the medal and the trophy was everything. Ironically, I suppose with the money they have nowadays the medal is the one thing you've mentioned that money can't buy.
