A. Stop the run. (with Shaun Alexander in the backfield it's hard for any defense to get a good nights rest. Last year making the Saints looking like a college team with over 100yds and 2 td's in the first half. The Saints have added depth to the D-line with free agent B. Young and first round pick W.Smith. Both have shown promise in the preseason, but again we're talking about Shaun Alexander, and the Saints.) B. Duece over 100yds (when Duece is over 100yds it's a good game for the Saints, but last year Duece had 99yds against the Seahawks and still showed no promise for the win. Without Duece in the endzone, it's all left up to A. Brooks and the gang to pull through.) C. Solid passing game (when Aaron Brooks is on, he's on, but when the games not going his way, mental mistakes begin to show. If Brooks and the recievers can stay on the same page it's a battle for any defense. With McCarthy's new offensive strategy, lining up B. Williams and E. Conwell at TE, should leave Horn, Stallworth and Pathon to do there thing. But will the mistakes be a problem?) D. Special Teams (Last year was the worst for Michael Lewis and the special teams. Not only was Lewis held under a 9yd avg for punts, but also did'nt have a single breaking run. Also stopping the return was a problem for the Saints last year, giving up 2td's. Will Lewis and the rest need to step it up this game?)
I apoligize if the Title has no meaning what's so ever. I was talking to someone while typing. What? Goulay
so biascally you are saying every part of the team must have a good game to win. sry but isnt that kinda obvious. if the saints want to win, running game has to be good, passing game has to be good, run stopping d has to be good and special teams has to be good. hey if they could do that every game they'd be undefeated
To answere my own question. Mental mistakes. The Saints are the worst at keeping a game on their side. They let a little incedent get into their heads and boom, game over. Where's the beer?
