1. Toronto - I honestly think they are keeping the pick. The Raptors have said that they have not gotten the offers they like for the top pick and I think they stay at #1. Who will they pick? Well it will probably be between Andrea Bargnani and LaMarcus Aldridge. 2. Chicago - I think they also keep the pick and select a post player. Most likely whoever Toronto doesn't pick or maybe Tyrus Thomas.3. Charlottep - I think they select either Rudy Gay or Adam Morrison.4. Portland - I think it's whoever Charlotte doesn't take in Gay or Morrison.5. Atlanta Hawks - Who know what the hell they do, is Shelden really the pick?
Then where will Tyrus Thomas end up?I agree with you though..I just have no idea where anyone will go anymore
Thats why this year's draft is good, its so unpredictable where anyone goes. Every year, I'm only interested in who the Wizards select, but this year I'm interested in whom other teams will select. If the Hawks take another forward I will die laughing. They need a PG more than anything. Marcus Williams would be a good pick, its a reach but they should grab him while he's available. Not a ton of good PGs in this draft.
TorontoWill Get- Andrea BaraginiShould Get- Brandon RoyChicagoWill Get- LaMarcus AldridgeShould Get- LaMarcus AldridgeCharlotteWill Get- Rudy GayShould Get- Brandon RoyPortlandWill Get- Adam MorrisonShould Get- Adam MorrisonAtlantaWill Get- Marcus Williams (Finally the GM will think what's best for the team.)Should Get- Marcus WilliamsAll In my opinion. Haven't heard too much about Brandon Roy going to Charlotte, but if Rudy Gay goes to Charlotte, what's going to happen to Gerald Wallace?
[1]. Toronto - I think in the end they won't get an offer enticing enough to move down. While there will be plenty of offers, none will be good enough for Bryan Colangelo. Prediction: Andrea Bargnani, F, Italy Should be, IMHO: Tyrus Thomas, F, LSU[2]. Chicago - Just like the Raptors, I think the Bulls will stay put and draft the best big man available. Prediction: LaMarcus Aldridge, PF/C, Texas Should be, IMHO: Same[3]. Charlotte - One of their biggest needs was a wing scorer. With Michael Jordan taking over the franchise, I think its narrowed down to Roy and Morrison. With them already having Wallace at SF, I think Roy will be the pick here. Prediction: Brandon Roy, G, Washington Should be, IMHO: Adam Morrison, F, Gonzaga[4]. Portland - Whatever player falls to them they will pick... BPA here. Except for a guard. Prediction: Adam Morrison, F, Gonzaga Should be, IMHO: Tyrus Thomas, F, LSU[5]. Atlanta - Even though they should take a PG like Rajon Rondo or Marcus Williams, I believe that they will take a big with this pick. Prediction: Patrick O'Bryant, C, Bradley Should be, IMHO: Traded down for more picks

A starting lineup of Felton, Wallace, Gay, Okafor and Brezec would be a good team for defense and getting out on the break with Felton pushing the ball and Wallace and Gay running on the wings. The problem i see, is that with a team like this, they will have no shooters on the floor at all. Teams will be able to crash down on Okafor as they please, and double team at all times, even him before he gets the ball. I think that the best pick here would be Brandon Roy to play at the shooting guard spot. He is a much better shooter than Gay, and will allow Wallace to stay at his normal 3 spot on the floor. Here is how i think the top five should shake out:1. Toronto- Bargnani2. Chicago- Lamarcus Aldridge3. Carolina- Brandon Roy4. Portland- Adam Morrison5. Atlanta- Marcus Williams.
I agree with your take on Rudy Gay in Charlotte, they then have nobody thats going to blow you away with outside shooting. Rudy Gay has a nice shot and an underrated threeball but I think Brandon Roy makes more sense for them.
I'm betting Raps take Bargnani, he has the most potential of the big men in the draft and if develops, can be a star. That's what you should do when you have the number one pick, just no offense to Aldridge, but he'll just be a average big man in the league. Maybe a all star once or twice, but nothing extradionary. Bargnani isn't a lock to be a phenom either, but he has the tools to become one. Bulls, this is where I'm sort of second guessing who they take. Ty Thomas believes he has a promise here, and I hear a lot of people say he will most likely be taken by the Bulls. Then there's the option Roy could be taken for at trade down(Rockets maybe), so I'm going with them taking Ty Thomas or Lamarcus Aldridge. Bobcats, already said, it's between Morrison and Gay. I hear Bernie and the staff are moving towards Morrison, while Jordan is not thrilled about it. Gay has also been talked about as their pick come the 28th. It's a toss up, I'll be surprized if anyone else not named Morrison or Gay are taken by the Cats. I'm going with Morrison because I'm biased. Blazers, I expect to look at Gay, Morrison and Aldridge(if not taken by Bulls). If Aldridge is here, I expect Blazers to be all over him. If Aldridge is taken, Thomas is out of the question, so it's between Gay and Morrison. So if Aldridge is gone at 2, then expect whoever's left over from Cats pick(Gay or Morrison). Hawks, I'm actually not expecting Marcus Williams to be picked here. Shelden Williams has to be a smokescreen, he's not a top 5 pick. Don't really know who they pick. If I'm them, I'd draft Roy and try to move down. On Roy to Cats, he's hurting himself by cancelling their workouts, but can't blame him because Cats really have given much consideration to other players. Their actually being hyprocrites, Roy knows Cats probably won't pick him, so why work out for them.

Plus he wasn't the only one who cancelled the workout so it wont just affect him
Yea it goes for Aldridge and Thomas as well. But I agreed with an article I read with Bobcats acting as victims but their really at fault as well with the cancellations. You really just hear Gay or Morrison coming from their camp, so it made sense for those three players to cancel. I heard Roy got workout yesterday with the Cats, does anyone know what came of that?
Assuming all top 5 teams keep their current position: 1. Toronto - LaMarcus Aldridge. They need another center. Nesterovic is not going to cut it. He was a nice addition but they need more big man depth, and Aldridge has good potential. 2. Chicago - Tyrus Thomas. Promises, promises, promises. I keep hearing it's either Thomas or Roy at #2, and I think it's Thomas. They need a big man waaay more than a wing, and a future lineup of Hinrich, Gordon, Deng/Nocioni, Thomas, and Chandler is scary as hell. Plus, even Danny Ainge said he would be suprised if Thomas went passed #2. 3. Charlotte - Adam Morrison. He could step in right away and be a scorer if anything for that team. Wallace would still be able to cover the opposing team's best perimiter player while Morrison takes the perimiter scoring load. 4. Portland - Andrea Bargnani. So much potential, and with Randloph/Miles leaving town they are going to need a scoring forward. Bargnani has all the potential in the world and would fit nicely with Portland. 5. Atlanta - Brandon Roy. Then they trade Roy to Houston for Shelden Williams and Luther Head. I am sold on this, and I would bet money that it's going to happen.
