I'm a fat man working real hard at becoming a chubby man, so exercise is now high on list for free time. Yesterday I biked my 280lb body up Mount Tabor three times. Also, go out with friends, movies, watch sports, read, geek out online, go out to dinner and hang around and just relax.
yeah. i walked from Manhattan to Hermosa beach and back yesterday, probably 3-4 miles total....then went to Venice Beach for their "drum circle" which is really cool. I also started biking to and from work every day, lots of hills and between 14 and 25 miles a day depending on the route I choose.
Take hikes in the mountains (ski in the winter). Go on bike rides. It doesn't feel time off unless I get outside and do something.
